Good Education, Food Important for Students: MP

Karimnagar: Peddapalli Congress MP Gaddam Vamshi Krishna on Thursday emphasised the importance of providing not only quality education but also nutritious food to students during a sudden visit to the Jyotiba Phule BC Welfare Hostel in Prashant Nagar, Godavarikhani town.

Expressing dissatisfaction with the lack of basic hygiene in the hostel, the MP admonished the staff for their negligence. Following his inspection, he shared a meal with the students to assess the quality of the food being served.

Addressing the gathering, Vamshi Krishna highlighted his concern over the rising cases of food poisoning in hostels. "Children are the future of our country. If they receive proper education and nutrition, the nation will prosper," he remarked. He urged the school and hostel staff to prioritise the students’ well-being and maintain high standards in both education and hygiene.

Encouraging the students, the MP advised them to work hard, aim high, and make their parents proud. "With dedication and perseverance, you can secure a bright future and contribute significantly to the nation's development," he said.

When school management brought several issues to his attention, Vamshi Krishna assured them of his support and pledged to allocate funds from the MP Local Area Development (LAD) scheme to address their concerns.
