Health Minister Inspects Progress on 1,225-Bed Super Specialty Hospital in Mahabubnagar

Hyderabad: Health minister Damodar C. Rajanarasimha, along with local legislators inspected the construction works of the 1,225-bed super specialty hospital being built in Mahbubnagar. The minister inspected the construction blueprints and directed the officials of all departments involved to ensure speedy completion of construction by December and prepare for the hospital's inauguration.

Rajanarasimha highlighted the government's commitment to providing quality medical care by recruiting skilled medical professionals and improving healthcare infrastructure across the state. He said that jobs will be provided to around 600 people, as the required staff for the hospital, including doctors, specialty doctors, nursing staff, sanitation staff and others.

The minister emphasised that the government wants to provide better medical care to all citizens. "Medical treatment should be accessible to the the poor without difficulties. Common man should think that "sarkari davakhana" is mine," the minister said.

He added that in the next four years, focus will be on the economic and social development of Mahbubnagar. For this, a review meeting was also held on the development of the district. State Minister Jupally Krishna Rao also participated. They discussed that the priorities should be irrigation, health, education, tourism development, women's associations, and other key aspects.
