Hyderabad: 300 cops deployed for Big Boss 8 final show

Hyderabad: Hyderabad police deployed 300 personnel to Annapurna Studios for the ‘Bigg Boss 8’ final show held on Sunday. To prevent disturbances, authorities restricted public access and banned processions and rallies around the studios.
Roads from Indiranagar and Krishnanagar to Annapurna Studios were blocked as a precautionary measure.
A DCP-level official oversaw the security arrangements in Jubilee Hills and its surroundings. Police instructed the ‘Bigg Boss’ organisers to not organise public gatherings at the venue, citing last year’s law and order issues when fans held a rally after winner Pallavi Prashant’s victory. Cases from that incident remain pending in court.
