Hyderabad CP holds meeting with peace committee for peaceful conduct of Bonalu, Moharrum

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Commissioner of Police (CP), Kothakota Sreenivasa Reddy, on Wednesday conducted a meeting with the central peace and welfare committee at Telangana Command and Control Centre in Banjara Hills here for the peaceful conduct of the ensuing Bonalu festival and Moharrum.

Speaking on the occasion, Reddy appreciated the commitment and hard work put in by the committee for the past several decades and sought similar continuous cooperation to maintain the city’s peaceful atmosphere, which is appreciated across the world.

He further requested the committee members for more frequent interactions with the police officers and share inputs relating to various problems and anti-social elements.

As many as 50 office-bearers and members of the central peace and welfare committee representing various zones of Hyderabad participated. Committee general secretary Srikishan Sharma expressed full support to the police department and the readiness to address any issue.
