Hyderabad: Family Stages Protest at Care Hospital, Blames Doctors for Patient’s Death

 Hyderabad: A woman and two children belonging to a family held a protest in front of Care Hospital, Gachibowli, after a family member died while undergoing treatment at the hospital on Friday.

According to Raidurgam circle inspector Ch Venkanna, Venkatesh, 48, from Narsapur, Medak, who was inflicted with cancer and undergoing treatment at the hospital, died on Friday morning.

The family of the deceased claimed that the negligence of the doctors had led to the death, the CI said. Care Hospital ‘exempted’ the family from paying `4 lakh charges, the CI said. The family had connections with Narsapur MLA, police said.
