Hyderabad Needs More Co-Working Spaces, Says Sridhar Babu
Hyderabad is witnessing a surge in working spaces, with IT Minister Sridhar Babu stating that the city offers better working spaces compared to other cities in India. The costs of these spaces are also relatively lower.
Babu inaugurated a new coworking space, WeWork, at MPM Mall in Ameerpet. He acknowledged that until now, IT spaces were mainly concentrated in the western part of the city. However, with the new development, central Hyderabad will also have access to IT spaces and startup companies.
This expansion is expected to contribute to the city's overall growth. The minister appreciated the mall management for providing the working space and emphasized the need for similar spaces throughout the city.
According to Babu, these working spaces will benefit not only startups but also small companies. The government is working on providing various facilities to industries, creating job opportunities. Additionally, efforts are being made to establish IT working spaces in areas surrounding the city, such as the ORR corridor.
