Hyderabad: The Joint Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad Traffic, Joel Davis urged the IT and ITES firms to offer work from home option for their employees on September 2, 2024.

In view of the continuous rainfall and the red alert issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the police officer said that the firms should think of the safety and well-being of employees.

He said that allowing the employees to work from home would minimize the risks associated with commuting during this weather.

Additionally, it would also help reduce the traffic congestion and ensure that emergency services are not hindered, Joel Davis added.
