Hyderabad YouTuber Attacked by Autorickshaw Driver Over Video

Hyderabad: A YouTuber was allegedly attacked by an autorickshaw driver for filming a video of him at Mahmood Hotel, which is in the Mailardevpally police station limits, late on Tuesday night.

According to Mailardevpally SHO P. Madhu, Mubeen Mirza, a YouTuber, and Sohail, an autorickshaw driver, know each other and the former warned the latter that he would expose his wrongdoings on his channel. The CI further said, “Sohail brothers have good connections and he does some illegal work for them besides being an autorickshaw driver.”

A video of Mubeen speaking while undergoing treatment has gone viral on social media. In the video, Mubeen could be seen saying, “I was near Mahmood Hotel when Sohail and friends approached me, greeted me and threatened me to remove the video on Sohail from my YouTube channel. When I refused, they beat me and also attacked me with a knife, causing an injury to my face. I am very old and yet working day and night, putting mine and my family’s life at risk, for my people.”

Mubeen further alleged in the video that Sohail and his friends were also under the influence of ganja when the incident occurred. A case was registered and an investigation is ongoing.
