Jagtial: Sub-registrar, Assistants Held for Bribe

Hyderabad: A sub-registrar, his subordinate, and an assistant document writer were arrested on Wednesday for accepting a bribe of Rs.5,000 in Metpalli town, Jagtial district.

Mohammad Asdir, 36, the officer-in-charge, along with office subordinate Banoth Ravi Kumar, were caught red-handed at the Sub-registrar’s office in Metpalli while demanding and accepting the bribe through assistant document writer Armoor Ravi.

Ravi had accepted the bribe from the complainant in exchange for handing over the original sale deed and memorandum of deposit of title deeds.
