KTR Calls on KCR, Briefs Him on ACB Case
Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Friday met with former chief minister and his father K. Chandrashekar Rao at the latter’s farmhouse in Erravalli village in Siddipet district and is learnt to have briefed him on the questioning by the ACB in the Formula E race case.
It may be recalled that there was some serious concern in the BRS leadership over where the case is headed with speculation running rife that Rama Rao would have a tough time answering questions from the ACB. However, Rama Rao, after the questioning on Thursday, said not only did he reply to all the questions asked by the officials but also expressed his readiness to visit the ACB office if called again.
Friday’s visit to Chandrashekar Rao’s farmhouse was aimed at providing a first-hand account to the former chief minister and BRS president on the developments. Rama Rao is learnt to have assured Chandrashekar Rao that there was nothing to be worried about over the case and that it was a desperate attempt by the Congress government to try and target him.
