Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka Leads Delegation to US and Japan for Investment Talks
HYDERABAD: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka will head a delegation of officials on a tour of tour of the United States and Japan till October 4, to meet with investors and visit headquarters of multinational companies to invite them to invest in the state.
The team will hold in-depth study of modern practices being adopted in green power and mining sectors by major giants in these sectors and take part in an international expo on mining at Las Vegas on September 24 and 25.
They will also visit Hoover dam in Las Vegas. The team will visit the Edwards and Sanborn battery energy storage systems in California in September 27 and meet with technical experts and investors on September 28.
According to a statement, the team consists of K. Ramakrishna Rao, special chief secretary, finance, Ronald Ross, power secretary, Balram Nayak, CMD of Singareni Collieries Company Ltd, Krishna Bhaskar, special secretary, and others.
The team will visit Japan and visit Tokyo on September 29 and take part in a dinner meeting hosted by a local diplomat on September 30. It will also attend a round table meeting with investors on the same day.
The team will hold a individual meetings with investors on October 1 and visit a green hydrogen energy plant at Yamanashi. After visiting the headquarters of Toshiba and Kawasaki on October 2, the team will reach Osaka and the head office of Panasonic on October 3. The team will leave for Hyderabad on October 4.
