Hyderabad: A 22-year-old person walked on his knees for over 70 kms and reached the popular Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple at Inavolu in Warangal district to offer special prayers for the wellbeing of his brother-in-law Rajanikanth.

Taking the support of a cloth piece, Nagaraju walked 70 kms from his residence at Ambala village to the temple. He took an oath to reach the temple by walking on his knees if Rajanikanth recovers speedily from serious injuries after meeting with a road accident.

As Rajanikanth recovered from injuries, Nagaraju reached the temple by walking on his knees to offer special prayers at the temple as thanksgiving. He walked on his knees till he reached the temple sanctum sanctorum where priests welcomed him with ‘harathi’ and showered blessings on him.

Nagaraju’s brave move not only won accolades from his relatives and friends but also from villagers, who said that Nagaraju set an example to others in giving top priority for the well-being of everyone.
