Mechanical Fire Engulfs Cars in Upparpally, No Casualties

Hyderabad: A fire caused by a mechanical friction left two cars charred, at a shed in Upparpally on Sunday afternoon, Rajendranagar inspector K. Kastro said no casualties were reported in the incident.

Smoke from the fire engulfed the road, leaving locals in fear. Visuals of the smoke were being shared on social media platforms.

While the cause of the fire is not known yet, the police suspect it to be a mechanical defect. Fire brigade teams were not called and locals doused the fire. No case was registered, police said.
