Metpally Sub-Registrar and Two Others Caught Accepting Bribe by ACB

Metpally Sub-Registrar Md. Asifuddin and office subordinate (outsourced) Banoth Ravi Kumar were caught red-handed by ACB sleuths at the Sub-Registrar Office while accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 through assistant document writer Armoor Ravi. The officials had demanded Rs 10,000 from bank employee Sunke Vishnu for performing official work. Upon Vishnu's request, the bribe amount was reduced to Rs 5,000. A chemical test yielded positive results. The trio will be presented before the Special Judge for SPE & ACB cases in Karimnagar, according to ACB DSP V.V. Ramana Murthy.
