Nizamabad: BJP leaders from Nizamabad district, led by MP Arvind Dharmapuri, campaigned extensively in New Delhi and clinched victories for party nominees in the RK Puram and Jangpura segments. Congratulating newly elected MLAs Anil Sharma (RK Puram) and Tarvinder Singh Marwah (Jangpura), Dharmapuri credited the success to coordinated grassroots efforts.

The Nizamabad team, which included National Turmeric Board chairman Palle Ganga Reddy, camped in New Delhi for several days. With each Assembly constituency divided into three mandals and two BJP leaders assigned per mandal, the team canvassed all polling booths to rally support.

Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, Dharmapuri said, “The party high command entrusted us with this task and we delivered in RK Puram and Jangpura.” BJP Nizamabad district president K. Dinesh further attacked AAP, alleging that founder Arvind Kejriwal’s promise of corruption-free governance fell short amid a liquor scam, and claimed that New Delhi voters chose BJP for its commitment to good governance. He also asserted that Telangana voters, disillusioned with BRS and Congress, will back BJP in upcoming local body elections.
