Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s plan to develop a city of international standards at Mucherla will boost the real estate industry in Telangana, unlike recent years when growth was concentrated in west Hyderabad, members of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (Credai), Hyderabad, said on Thursday.

The Credai-Hyderabad will organise three property shows in the city this month — Hitex Exhibition Centre (August 2 to 4), Shree Conventions at Kompally (August 9 to 11) and a centre near Nagole Metro Station (August 23 to 25).

Real estate experts said Mucherla will successfully implement the concept of decentralisation.

They added that infrastructure works like Outer Ring Road, Regional Ring Road and expansion of Hyderabad will be value additions to the proposed new city.

This planned city already has a 100-feet road connecting it to the Nagarjunasagar Highway and the Srisailam Highway.

“Due to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s vision of setting up Mucherla city, which will have a medical hub, skill university and sports university, the real estate industry will flourish in Telangana,” said general secretary of Credai, Hyderabad, Jagannath Rao.

Members of Credai, Hyderabad, and other real estate experts also hoped that the revision of market value of lands is temporarily kept on hold and urged for the relaxation of registration charges for women.
