No future with BJP govt: Kavya
WARANGAL: Congress Warangal MP candidate Dr Kadiam Kavya said that the Congress state government which was well aware of the problems of the poor people, had taken several steps to uplift them in the past. So, she said people needed to support the Congress like how they supported in the recently held Assembly elections so that it could form the government at the Centre.
Dr Kavya, along with the Wardhannapet MLA K.R. Nagaraju, participated in a road show held at Parvathagiri in Warangal district on Saturday.
Speaking at the event, Dr Kavya alleged that Prime minister Narendra Modi who visited Warangal two days back has not given any promise to the people but sought their votes. He did not even sanction the railway coach factory in Kazipet which was given at the time of bifurcation of the Telangana state in 2014.
Modi did not fulfil any single promise like depositing Rs 15 lakh into the bank accounts of each family, and providing 2 crore jobs a year to the unemployed youth but decided to privatise the public sector units and hand them over to his corporate friends Adani and Ambani.
Because of the reservations that were allotted in the Indian constitution, the people of various sections and their children can live with respect in society. But the BJP is making a conspiracy to lift the reservations. If that happens then the future of coming generations will be driven into darkness.
There is grave danger with the BJP to the people of the country. By encouraging communal politics, the BJP is trying to create disputes among the people. The Congress is the only party which can prevent the dictatorship ruling of Narendra Modi to protect the future of the Indian people.
When the people of the Wardhannapet Assembly segment had elected Aroori Ramesh as an MLA for two consecutive times in the past, instead of taking up developmental works he worked for his benefit and gathered a lot of wealth and properties by indulging in land mafia. That is why people had taught him a fitting lesson.
After learning a lesson from the past, Ramesh again is coming in front of the people as Warangal BJP MP candidate to continue the land mafia and encroach the remaining lands of innocent people, lakes, ponds and tanks and the BRS party is supporting him indirectly by fielding a dummy candidate.
She appealed to the people to teach both the BJP candidate Aroori Ramesh and BRS candidate Sudheer Kumar a fitting lesson and register a thumping victory for her in the Lok Sabha elections which are going to be held on Monday, May 13 by participating in large numbers in the polling.
