No money left here, house owner writes to thieves

Hyderabad: A video went viral on social media on Wednesday showing a letter posted by a house owner, addressed to potential thieves. The letter, written in Telugu, read:

"We are going to the village for Sankranti. We are taking all the money and jewellery with us. Please don’t enter our house. This is from your well-wisher."

Before leaving for his hometown to celebrate Sankranti, the house owner locked the main door and pasted the letter on it.

The viral video sparked a wave of public reactions online. Some commented humorously, saying, “Thieves might see this as a bonus!” Others remarked that the unusual message had caught everyone’s attention and jokingly suggested it could serve as an open invitation to burglars.
