OpenText Collaborates with Nirmaan Organization to Adopt Four Villages in Mulugu

Hyderabad: In a landmark move towards community development, OpenText India, a leading information management company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hyderabad-based Nirmaan Organization, under the 'One Corporate - One Village' initiative. This partnership aims to transform four villages in Mulugu district, Telangana, through various developmental programs.

The MoU was officially signed during the Nirmaan Social Impact Conclave- 2024, held on December 12, 2024 at the Radisson Hotel, Hyderabad. The event brought together corporate leaders, social impact experts, and government representatives to discuss sustainable goals to build an inclusive developed India.
The ‘One Corporate - One Village' initiative, launched by Nirmaan Organization in partnership with the Government of Telangana under the leadership of Dr. D. Danasari Anasuya, Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, aims to transform rural and tribal villages into model villages in Telangana. Under this initiative, OpenText will support the adoption and transformation of four villages, namely Chandru Thanda, LB Nagar, Kodishalakunta, and Jagannapet, in Mulugu district, Telangana.
The estimated budget for the development of four villages will be approximately Rs 1 crore. The interventions include the construction of Anganwadi buildings, provision of water tanks and borewells, installation of solar lighting systems, the distribution of bicycles for students, school repairs, health camps, etc. impacting over 5,000 individuals.
Through this collaboration, the project is designed to create lasting positive change in the PVTG (Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group) and tribalcommunity, ensuring a long-term benefit to their socio-economic development.
