Peddapalli’s Srihitha Raj Wins Gold in State Karate Tournament

Karimnagar: Tagarapu Srihitha Raj, a 16-year-old from Jyothi Nagar, Godavarikhani, Peddapalli district, secured a gold medal in the under-17 girls' category at the State-Level Karate Tournament conducted under the School Games Federation (SGF) by the state government.

A 10th-grade student at Kendriya Vidyalaya, NTPC, Srihitha has showcased exceptional skills in karate, winning multiple awards at district and state levels. Her victory earned her a spot on the Telangana team for the National Karate Tournament representing SGR.

Srihitha is also talented in softball, having competed in state-level tournaments representing the united Karimnagar district. District education officer D. Madhavi and SGF secretary K. Srinivas praised her achievements and extended their best wishes.
