President Murmu to arrive in Hyderabad on September 28
Hyderabad: President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to arrive in Hyderabad on September 28 for a one-day visit. She will participate in the convocation ceremony of the Nalsar University of Law in Shamirpet and inaugurate the Bharathiya Kala Mahotsav at Rashtrapati Nilayam.
Chief Secretary A Santhi Kumari held a meeting with key officials to review and finalise the arrangements for the President’s visit. She stressed the need for meticulous planning and coordination among various departments to ensure the visit proceeds smoothly. The meeting covered the issues of security, medical arrangements, civic facilities as well as catching snakes and monkeys around Rashtrapati Bhavan and clearing bee hives.
Top officials, including DGP Dr Jitender, special chief secretary, home, Ravi Gupta, DG Fire Services Nagi Reddy, Governor’s principal secretary Burra Venkatesham, attended the meeting.
