Rangolis to Replace Garbage Vulnerable Points as Part of Telangana's Praja Vijayotsavalu

Hyderabad:The elimination of garbage vulnerable points (GVPs), and replacing them with rangolis, will be taken up at the 142 urban local bodies (ULBs) outside GHMC on December 3, as part of activities for the Praja Vijayotsavalu planned by the commissioner and director of municipal administration (CDMA). In addition, Indira Mahila Shakti stalls will be set up.

Health camps and screening for eye problems will be organised for municipal workers. Cultural activities will be held in convergence with Mission For Elimination Of Poverty In Municipal Areas (MEPMA).

Distribution of bank linkage cheques to SHGs under Indira Mahila Shakthi and loans to street vendors, distribution of safety equipment and PPE kits to sanitation workers will also be done, according to CDMA T.K. Sreedevi.
