CM Revanth Inaugurates India’s Tallest Gold-Plated Vimana Gopuram
Yadagirigutta temple will be the tallest Vimana Gopuram with gold plating, standing at 55 feet, compared to the TTD's 33-foot structure, in the country.;

Bhongir: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy inaugurated the gold-plated vimana gopuram of Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy Temple on Sunday. At 50.5 feet, the structure is the tallest gold-plated vimana gopuram in the country.
The launch was steeped in ritual, with the process conducted under the supervision of Vanamamalai Peetam 31st pontiff Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamy at 11.54 am. The temple resobated with the chanting of "Om Narasimahaih" as the ceremony unfolded.
Arriving by road from Hyderabad at 11.20 am with his wife, Revanth Reddy was greeted with a purna kumbham by the temple priests. He took part in a special puja at the temple.
Earlier in the day, the temple’s ritual experts performed the Pancha Kundathmaka Maha Narsimha Yagam and a Maha Abisekham on the vimana gopuram using water from 14 rivers. A total of 68 kg of gold was used for the gold plating, with the devasthanam spending `8 crore.
A large crowd gathered at the temple, and authorities ensured adequate facilities on the hill to accommodate the influx of devotees. In addition, enhanced security measures were implemented both at the temple and along the Hyderabad-Yadagirigutta route.
BRS president K. Chandrashekar Rao, among the invitees, did not attend the ceremony.
Prominent guests at the event included Chief Secretary A. Santhi Kumari, Government Whip Beerla Ialaiah, Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, and MLAs Kumbam Anil Kumar and Vemula Veeresham.
