S. Ramu Reelected to PRSI Panel

Hyderabad: Journalism educator and senior communication professional Dr S. Ramu and the existing panel were reelected by The Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) Hyderabad.

K. Yadagiri, assistant professor at Dr B.R. Ambedkar Open University, has been elected secretary for the third time in a row. The tenure of the new executive committee is two years, a statement said.

Aparna Rajhans, faculty member at St Joseph's Degree and PG College, was elected joint secretary. The other executive committee members were: Rajesh Kalayana, PRO, South Central Railway; P. Linga Reddy (T-SATS), P.S.R. Murthy (banking) and Dr Sajida Khan (TV and film industry).

Dr Ramu, said, "We are committed to help professionals improve their skills in tune with the ever-changing technological advancements. We are in the forefront in publicising programmes and schemes of the Union and Telangana governments."

The newly-elected body hailed Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Information and public relations minister P. Srinivas Reddy for resolving the long-pending issues of journalists.
