Single lapse can demoralize police force credibility: Cyberabad Police Chief Avinash Mohanty

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty on Thursday highlighted the importance of discipline, punctuality, and professionalism in maintaining public trust, emphasizing that even a single lapse could significantly undermine the credibility of the police force.

He encouraged the cadets to take pride in their work, remain disciplined, and continuously strive to uphold the trust placed in them by society. Mohanty, who presided over the passing out-parade (Dikshant Parade) of the 7th batch of Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Police Constables (Armed Reserve - Men), expressed gratitude to Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) and training staff for their exemplary efforts.

Additional Director-General of Police (ADGP), V V Srinivas Rao, who was the chief guest for the parade, commended the transparent recruitment process conducted by (TSLPRB), which attracted over eight lakh applicants for 18,000 positions. Congratulating selected cadets, he emphasized integrity, discipline, and commitment as the foundation of effective police service.

He praised the rigorous training undergone by the cadets, which prepared them to meet the challenges of law enforcement with professionalism and dedication. He also acknowledged the pivotal role of families and training staff in shaping the future of these officers.
