Teacher Suspended for Misconduct with Students

Adilabad: The Signareni Education Society authorities suspended a Telugu teacher from Kothagudem- who faced the charges of misbehaving with female students- on Friday and made it clear that they would take stern action against him if proven guilty. The teacher was recently transferred to the Singreni Collieries High School in Kothagudem.

In a media statement, the general manager of the society B. Nicolas said the teacher was in police custody following the complaint that he was misbehaving with the students and the society will order a full inquiry into the incident. He said the society will take measures to reinforce confidence among parents about the safety of their children and ensure that such incidents will not be repeated. Nicolas made it clear that they will not tolerate teachers whose behaviour is not on the expected lines and the management will take all necessary measures for the safety and security of the students.

Two youths die in road accident

Two youths died in a road accident that took place near Lolam village in Dilwarpur mandal in Nirmal district. The accident happened when the car and bike colluded on Friday late at night. The deceased were identified as Prashanth, 20, and Sanjay, 20, of Lolam village. They were riding the bike when the incident occurred. Another person who was injured in the accident was shifted to a private hospital for treatment.
