Telangana: 4 of a Family Die by Suicide Due to Stock Market Loss

 Adilabad: Four members of a family from Kasipet village in Tandur mandal, Bellampalli, succumbed to their injuries at MGM Hospital in Warangal on Wednesday after attempting suicide due to a financial crisis.

The family reportedly faced severe financial distress after one member lost Rs 30 lakh invested in the share market. Unable to repay loans taken from private money lenders, they resorted to consuming pesticide at their residence on Tuesday.

The deceased have been identified as Samudrala Mondaiah (60), his wife Sridevi (50), their daughter Chitti (30), and son Shiva Prasad (26). After the incident, they were initially rushed to a hospital in Mancherial for treatment and later shifted to MGM Hospital in Warangal, where they passed away.
