Telangana: BJP Announces Candidates for Council Elections

 Hyderabad: Telangana BJP president and Union minister G. Kishan Reddy on Friday nominated party candidates for polls to three Legislative Council seats.

Puli Sharat Kumar, school assistant from Warangal and general secretary of the Panchayat Raj Teachers' Union, was fielded from the MLC teachers’ constituency of Nalgonda-Warangal-Khammam.

Malka Komaraiah of Peddapalli in Karimnagar district, chairman of the Pallavi group of institutions, was fielded from the MLC teachers’ constituency for Karimnagar-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Medak.

Sangareddy-based entrepreneur C. Anji Reddy, who hails from Ramachandrapuram in Medak district, was fielded as the candidate from the MLC graduates’ constituency for Karimnagar-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Medak. His wife, Godavari Anji Reddy, is presently president of the party’s Sangareddy district unit.
