Telangana BJP leaders to take part in poll campaign in Varanasi in support of Modi
Hyderabad: Senior BJP leaders from Telangana will take part in election campaign in Varanasi Parliament constituency where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is contesting for third consecutive time.
The polling in Varanasi will be conducted in the last phase of Lok Sabha elections-2024 on June 1.
Rajya Sabha MP and OBC Morcha national president K Laxman is already taking part in the canvassing, while former MLA Eatala Rajender, party national vice-president DK Aruna, BJP legislative party floor leader A Maheswar Reddy will attend the campaign from Tuesday.
As Lok Sabha elections in Telangana were completed on May 13, the senior party leaders from the State were visiting various Parliament constituencies to campaign in support of the party candidates. Accordingly, Laxman, Eatala, Aruna, Maheswar Reddy and other leaders will campaign in Varanasi.
Former Chief Minister and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu, Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan and other NDA alliance party leaders were present when Modi filed nomination papers in Varanasi a few days ago.
