Telangana: CM to Address Yuva Vikas Meet in Peddapalli Today

Karimnagar: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will address the Yuva Vikas Vijayotsava Sabha in Peddapalli to be held on December 4, IT minister D. Sridhar Babu said on Tuesday.

Speaking at a press meet held in Peddapalli, the minister appealed to Congress leaders and various sections of people to make the meeting a huge success by attending in large numbers.

During his visit, the Chief Minister will lay foundation stones for various developmental works including Sultanabad-Peddapalli bypass road, construction of Indira Mahila Shakti and Library buildings, RTC bus depot, upgradation of hospitals and many other works, he said.

In just one year of its ruling, the Congress government has successfully fulfilled most of its poll promises and seen many victories in various fields, he said.

Sridhar Babu said that during his Palle Nidra programme at Pattipaka, T. Harish Rao, as the minister in BRS regime, promised to complete the construction of Pattipaka reservoir, but failed to keep his word.

Thousands of acres in the Dharmapuri and Peddapalli constituencies will become fertile with the completion of the Pattipaka reservoir. The CM will give assurance on the construction works of Pattipaka reservoir, he added.

Government chief whip and Dharmapuri MLA Adluri Laxman Kumar, Peddapalli MLA Vijaya Ramana Rao and Ramagundam MLA Makkan Singh Raj Takur were present.
