Telangana CM's U-turn on Pharma After Protests: BJP
Hyderabad: BJP vice-president and Mahbubnagar MP D.K. Aruna said that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy had taken a U-turn by declaring that no pharma unit would come up at Lagcherla, and that land was being acquired for an industrial corridor. This she claimed was a major victory of protesting farmers and strong protests by BJP workers.
“Revanth Reddy enacted a drama by sending a delegation of Left parties to Lagcherla by arranging buses. Then the CM tells the Left leaders that an industrial corridor is coming at Lagcharla,” Aruna claimed.
Aruna demanded the state government lift the cases against the farmers and release them. She also demanded the Revanth Reddy government not acquire land of the poor and set up the industrial corridor on government land.
