Telangana Gears Up for Rythu Panduga from November 28-30
Hyderabad:Agriculture minister Tummala Nageswara Rao asked officials and peoples representatives to work in unison for the success of Rythu Panduga from November 28 to 30. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is likely to participate at the event, being held in the backdrop of the first anniversary celebrations of the Congress government.
He said the loan waiver had benefitted 20,000 to 30,000 farmers in every Assembly constituency.
At a meeting at the Secretariat on Tuesday, he said benefits accrued because of modernisation of agriculture, dairy and fisheries would be showcased in the meeting along with speeches by model farmers.
Chief Secretary A. Santhi Kumari asked the officials to make arrangements for vehicle parking, traffic and stalls. The meeting was attended by ministers Jupally Krishna Rao, Damodara Rajanarsimha, Planning Board vice-chairman Dr Chinna Reddy and Mahbubnagar district legislators.
