Telangana: Top cop calls for discipline among forces

Nalgonda: Rachakonda police commissioner G. Sudheer Babu emphasised the importance of dedication and commitment for police personnel, describing their roles as some of the most challenging in society. He was speaking at the passing-out parade of Armed Reserve Constables held at the District Training Centre (DTC) in Nalgonda on Thursday.
Sudheer Babu highlighted the vital role police play in maintaining law and order and reminded the gathering of the sacrifices made by officers in the line of duty while combating anti-social elements.
He stressed that police must work with unwavering dedication to enforce laws while adhering to strict discipline, as the department’s reputation is built on these values. Additionally, he underscored the need for psychological strength alongside physical fitness to handle any eventuality effectively.
The commissioner advised the new constables to maintain good relations with the public, emphasising that earning the trust and confidence of citizens is crucial for effective policing.
A total of 265 trainee constables completed their nine-month basic induction training at the DTC in Nalgonda. Sudheer Babu reviewed the passing-out parade and presented awards to the best-performing trainees.
Superintendent of police Sharath Chandra Pawar and additional superintendent of police Ramulu Naik were also present at the ceremony.
