Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh continued to face problems related to bifurcation of united Andhra Pradesh and exuded confidence that the two Telugu States would resolve them. One of the problems the two States were facing since 2014 was pertaining to the irrigation sector.

Requesting not to create any rift between two States, he said Telangana was in the forefront in Information Technology and Pharma sector development. Stating that the BJP did nothing for the country, Revanth Reddy said that the Congress won elections in Himachal Pradesh, which is having 90 per cent of Hindu population.

Referring to the party’s drubbing in Haryana, Revanth Reddy admitted that there were some reasons that led to the defeat of Congress in that State. If Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu extends cooperation, then a candidate from Congress would become the Prime Minister, he said. On the election result in Jammu and Kashmir, he said the people in the valley defeated the BJP to lead a peaceful life, he added.
