Temples in Nizamabad gear up for Vaikunta Ekadasi

Warangal: Vaishnavite temples across Nizamabad district are decked out for the auspicious occasion of Vaikunta Ekadasi on January 10. Temples including Indur Tirumala in Narsingpally village (Mopal mandal), Apuroopa Venkateshwara in Adavi Mamidipally village (Makloor mandal), and Telangana Tirumala in Timmapur (Birkur mandal) have been beautifully adorned for the special Uttara Dwara (North Door) darshan on Friday.

Thousands of devotees are expected to visit Sri Venkateswara Swamy temples in the district to mark the occasion. Temples such as Ramalayam in Subhashnagar, Janda Balaji Mandir, and Sri Venkateswara Swamy temples in Aryanagar, Bodhan, and Dichpally are also prepared for the festivities. Pallaki Seva and other special rituals will be performed to celebrate the event.
Sri Ganapati Sacchidananda Swamy Ji is scheduled to visit the Uttara Tirupati temple in Gangasthan-2, Nizamabad. Special darshan will commence at 5 am on Friday, drawing devotees from far and wide.
The temple committees, in coordination with endowment department officials, have been working diligently to make arrangements for the celebrations. Several volunteers joined hands on Thursday to assist with preparations.
