TG poised to be the spiritual capital of the country: Sridhar Babu
Hyderabad: IT minister D. Sridhar Babu expressed his happiness for being part of laying a foundation stone for a devotional tower in the city. He hoped that spiritual centres like the Hare Krishna Heritage Tower project would pave the way for making Telangana the spiritual capital of the country.
Hare Krishna Heritage Tower is the upcoming skyscraper temple and cultural centre in Narsingi. After completion, the magnificent tower will rise to a height of 430 feet. (130 meters) and can become a cultural landmark in Telangana. The iconic monument will be constructed along with Sri Radha Krishna (main temple), Sri Sita Rama and Sri Gaura Nitai and Sri Srinivasa Govinda temples on a six-acre campus at a Goshpada Kshetra (land sanctified by cows).
Bhu-Sevaks of this project are Sri Krishna Goseva Mandal. The organiser Madhu Pandit Dasa said that they were overwhelmed to lay a foundation stone for the heritage towers and expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister. It will play an important part in realising the cultural tourism potential of the region. This project will also contribute to the socio-economic development of the surrounding communities through various welfare initiatives. We eagerly look forward to people's participation in our noble endeavour to celebrate our glorious culture and inspire future generations, he said.
Sri Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa said that they consider the project's successful development as a ‘significant milestone in our mission for the spiritual and social welfare of everyone’.
The campus will have features like a library, museum, multi-vision theatre and Bhagavad Gita halls for the spiritual and cultural education of children, youth and families. Various attractions integrated with the latest technologies like holograms and laser projection, will create engaging and immersive experiences for visitors and present our rich culture and heritage in a captivating manner, he said.
There will be a grand Vaidika Samskara hall and several pilgrim guest rooms. The free annadanam hall will benefit all pilgrims.
