Hyderabad: Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday arrested T. Ram Mohan, TGSPDCL Deputy Engineer (Technical) at the office of the Superintendent Engineer (Operations) in Saroornagar when he allegedly demanded and accepted a bribe amount Rs 18,000 from a complainant to process and forward the complainant’s applications to his higher official for installation of 63 KV transformer.
The bribe was also allegedly demanded for shifting 33 KV lines and 11 KV lines from his venture to other place. The bribe amount was recovered from the possession of Mohan and his both hand fingers yielded positive results in a chemical test, according to ACB officials.
