Turkey Ambassador Seeks Stronger Ties with Telangana: Sridhar Babu

 Hyderabad: Turkey’s Ambassador to India Firat Sunel expressed his country's keenness to strengthen relations with Telangana. He met IT and industries minister D. Sridhar Babu at the Secretariat on Friday. During their discussion, the two leaders explored opportunities for cooperation.

Minister Sridhar Babu highlighted the longstanding historical and cultural ties between Telangana and Turkey. He emphasised that Telangana offered a favorable environment for investments in sectors such as agriculture, pharmaceuticals, life sciences and commerce.

The minister invited Turkey to send an industrial delegation to explore Telangana’s thriving ecosystem. Ambassador Firat Sunel responded positively, expressing willingness to facilitate such an initiative. Turkey’s Consul General Orhan Yaman Okan also participated in the meeting.
