Two drown in Shamirpet

Hyderabad:Two persons drowned while swimming in Shamirpet Lake near Hyderabad, police said on Monday.

The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon after the deceased Balu and Sandeep went to Jagadgirigutta for a temple visit.

They were part of a group of six friends. After visiting the temple, the friends went to the lake for swimming. Police recovered the bodies. A case was registered.
