Two held for raping woman in Hyderabad.

Hyderabad: Miyapur police on Wednesday arrested two persons and sent them to judicial custody for raping a woman within Miyapur police station limits.

On June 30, the victim met Sanga Reddy and Janardhan, real estate salesmen, who offered to freshen up at a room in Sri Lakshmi Hotel, Miyapur, informing her that they'd pick her up in the afternoon.

During afternoon, the accused picked her up in a car and the three left for Yadagirigutta. At around 10.30pm, the accused made it appear as though the car broke down and stopped at a side of an isolated place.

They asked her if she needed anything, to which she refused.
However, Janardhan gave her a cold drink and a sweet. After consuming that, she started feeling dizzy and informed the accused about the same. They further started feeding her the sweet, saying she must be feeling dizzy because she is on an empty stomach.

Using the moment as an advantage, the accused undressed her, raped her and even hit her. They dropped her at the hostel and fled the scene.

The next morning, the victim could feel severe body pain. She lodged a complaint with the Uppal police, which registered a zero FIR and shifted the case to Miyapur police.
