Vikarabad Attack: Kodangal Court Extends Remand of Ex-MLA Narender Reddy

Hyderabad: A Kodangal court on Thursday extended the judicial remand of BRS former MLA Patnam Narender Reddy till December 11, in connection with the attack on the Vikarabad collector and other revenue officers at Lagcharla.
With his judicial remand ending on Wednesday, the police on Thursday produced the former MLA in the court. Later, the police shifted the former MLA to prison.
Narender Reddy is accused No 1 in the cases registered by the Vikarabad police in connection with the villagers attacking Vikarabad collector Prateek Jain during a public hearing on land acquisition to set up an industrial park. The police have arrested 20 persons including Narender Reddy.
