Vyas Memorial Lecture Held

Hyderabad: Former vice-chancellor of the Central University of Allahabad Dr Rajen Harshe has emphasised the role of technology, communication networks and economic interdependence in shaping terrorist organisations' strategies in the globalised world and security agencies' responses.
He was addressing the K.S. Vyas Memorial Lecture organised by the RBVRR Telangana Police Academy at ICCC on Monday. Smt. Aruna Vyas and Sreevatsa Kota, joint metropolitan commissioner, HMDA, who is the son of late K.S. Vyas attended the programme.
Academy director Abhilasha Bisht highlighted their commitment to keeping the memory of K.S. Vyas alive and inspiring the current generation of police officers. Telangana DGP Dr Jitender shared his perspective on the everlasting impact of Vyas, who with his uncanny vision, conceived and raised the Greyhounds police force.
