Brother kills newlywed sister in Telangana

Ranga Reddy: In yet another gruesome honour killing incident, a police constable was reportedly killed in cold blood by her brother at Ibrahimpatnam here on Monday morning.
The incident happened on a highway between Rayapole and Endlaguda.
The woman, identified as Nagamani, got divorced ten months back and married another person out of her caste.
Outraged by the decision, her brother intercepted her vehicle when she was enroute to work and attacked her with an axe, killing her on the spot.
According to media reports, Nagamani's native was Rayapole and she was working as a police constable at Hayath Nagar Police Station.
