Yuletide Envelops Raj Bhavan

 Hyderabad: Raj Bhavan wore a festive look as the Festival Choristers, a renowned musical ensemble, performed Christmas carols amidst the warm glow of a beautifully adorned Christmas tree. The event, held on Thursday evening, was marked by an atmosphere of joy and unity.

Governor Jishnu Dev Varma enjoyed the choral melodies and joining in a ceremonial cake-cutting. Members of the Raj Bhavan Parivar and children present cheered as the Governor emphasised the Christmas spirit of goodwill, harmony, and togetherness.

The Festival Choristers, established in 2006, have been fostering unity in the community through their music. Known for their year-round performances, they have become a beacon of joy in the twin cities, spreading festive cheer and uplifting audiences with their classic renditions.

Under the guidance of Aruna Bahuguna, a former IPS official, the group has continually brought innovative concerts to the public, strengthening communal bonds through music.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including former IAS officer Rebello, Sonibala Devi, and senior officers of Raj Bhavan, all of whom appreciated the enchanting performance and the spirit of the season.
