The Arbaeen (Chehlum) observance is scheduled for the 20th of Safar, marking the 40th day after Ashura.

The DCP discussed the participation of a large number of matamis (mourning groups) from neighbouring states and detailed planning of the routes to be followed during the Arbaeen procession.
