VIJAYAWADA: AP medical and health minister Vidadala Rajini on Saturday averred that the YSRC under the leadership of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will sweep the elections on May 13 across the state.

During her campaign 'Gadapa Gadapaku' in the 35th division of Guntur West constituency, she praised Jagan Mohan Reddy as a leader who fulfills his promises, claiming that the Chief Minister delivered on 99 per cent of the commitments he made in the 2019 manifesto, which included reforms in education, healthcare, and agriculture sectors.

Rajini accused Opposition leader N. Chandrababu Naidu for disregarding past manifestos and failing to fulfil promises.

She further alleged that Naidu was creating obstacles for the government in carrying out welfare programmes.

She said Naidu does not take manifesto promises seriously, treating them like worthless paper. She said the 2024 TDP manifesto carried unrealistic promises.

Guntur West MLA Maddali Giridhar Rao accused Naidu of obstructing government schemes, alleging that his actions have adversely affected the people.

He criticised Naidu for prioritising political gains over the well-being of the community.

Rajini emphasised that the people recognise Jagan Mohan Reddy as the deserving leader.
