YSRC Complains to President over TD Attacks

Vijayawada: With attacks on YSRC leaders from TD gangs continuing unabated in AP after the TD- alliance won the polls, the YSRC on Wednesday complained to President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeking their intervention to end the mayhem.

Complaints were sent also to home minister Amit Shah and the National Human Rights Commission.

YSRC Rajya Sabha member V. Vijayasai Reddy, said the party urged the President to intervene and help maintain law and order in AP.

“The TD ranks are on the rampage targeting the YSRC leaders since last week. The police is looking the other way.”

YSRC Rajya Sabha member Y.V. Subba Reddy said, “The Centre should immediately intervene and stop the violence. The BJP that is part of the NDA alliance is urged to act immediately.”

MP Mithun Reddy said, “The TD ranks are attacking the YSRC cadres, injuring them and demolishing and damaging their houses and businesses in the state.”
