Radhikaa’s daughter Rayane to wed cricketer Abhimanyu

The bond between celebrities and cricket is very old. And so are the affairs between cricketers and film stars. Earlier, there were rumours about Shruti Haasan and Suresh Raina, which eventually turned out to be a rumour. Now, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s relationship is also making its share of headlines and luckily for them, there have been quite a few instances of cricketers and movie personalities tying the knot.

The latest one to follow suit is another star daughter. Yesteryear star Radhikaa Sarathkumar’s daughter Rayane is getting engaged to cricketer Abhimanyu Mithun who plays the IPL for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Abhimanyu had also represented team India in ODIs.

Sources say Rayane and Abhimanyu have been dating for a while now and finally, after approval from both sides, the couple is set for an engagement ceremony to be held in Chennai on September 23.

When DC contacted Radhikaa Sarath, she confirmed her daughter Rayane is getting engaged to Mithun. The very happy mum said, “We are conducting the engagement ceremony on the 23rd, which will be a family affair with only our close friends and her friends attending it.”
