The ICC World T20 was a blend of sheer talent decorated with colossal shots coupled with bowling finesse. India entered the tournament as firm favourites. But in came in the Carbbean speed breaker that crushed MS Dhoni-led Team India's dream to make it to their third summit clash of the global tournament. Chris Gayle, who was pitted as the game changer, was left clueless after an in-swinging Jasprit Bumrah sent him back for just the 5 runs. And after his departure everyone thought it was game over not Lendl Simmons. However, there were other batsmen, who were expected to fire, but didn't prove their point on the day. Let's have a look. If there's an alarming situation that seems to be hurting Team India, it's the form of their crippling middle order and Suresh Raina's performance plays a vital role in the scheme of things. But that was not the case in World T20 2016. Raina in last 10 T20I games in the current calendar year has just managed to garner 80 runs at a dismal average of 11.42. Amidst the brouhaha surrounding retirement, the then Pakistan T20 skipper Shahid Afridi was not at all impressive, both with bat and ball.
