Hurricane Beryl: Indian cricketers stranded in Barbados

Team India after winning the T20 World Cup are now facing another challenge, but this time it's not from an opponent team but from nature. The Rohit-led side is now stranded at their hotel in Barbados as the island city is under the dangerous grade 3 Hurricane - Beryl.
According to reports, the Indian team was set to take-off from Barbados on Monday morning but are now forced to reschedule their return to home due to the bad weather.
The World Champions may also see the hurricane as the hotel they are now staying-in is close to the coast and might get hit by the hurricane, reports say.
Barbados Prime Minister, according to reports, had announced the closure of Grantley Adams International airport in anticipation of the hurricane.
Meanwhile, there is also a curfew imposed in the city from 6 pm on Monday. Along with team India, other media persons were also stranded in the island city due to adverse weather conditions.
Team India are set to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi upon their arrival, claimed some reports.
